Experience the architecture and history of the Bohemian National Hall from 1896 to the present and view a newly installed special exhibit in the Dvorak Room.
From its construction in 1896 as a social hall for the Czech and Slovak community to its present-day use as a center for Czech culture and commerce, the Bohemian National Hall has played a vital role in New York City life. Designer and writer Katerina Kyselica will lead a tour of the NYC landmark. Design and cultural historian Majda Kallab Whitaker will introduce a special viewing of the Dvorak Room with the exhibit “Dvorak’s New World Symphony and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.” Event organized in collaboration with the Dvorak American Heritage Association.
