LEAVING CZECHOSLOVAKIA
June 27, 2012 , 7pm - 9pm, Free
From 2009 through 2011, more than 150 interviews were conducted by the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library (NCSML) through its landmark project, Recording Voices & Documenting Memories of Czech & Slovak Americans.
No one could have anticipated the personal drama conveyed in these stories…
Now, under the auspices of the Consulates General of the Slovak and Czech Republics in New York, the NCSML would like to invite you to the opening of its traveling exhibit, Leaving Czechoslovakia, presenting the stories of 20th-century Czech and Slovak émigrés to America in their own words.
Please RSVP to Leah Wilson by June 22 at LWilson@NCSML.org 319.362.8500
Organized by: Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association, National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library
