GATHERING OF DRUMMERS

THE GATHERING OF DRUMMERS (Slet bubeníků) is now in its 8th year. The mission is to create a new original multi-genre music project. Inventive drummers are invited to participate in a one-week workshop to create a unique and specific art form – a composition of circa 10 drum sets and percussive instruments, eventually adding melodic instruments. The result of this global drummer pot is always fascinating. There is a mesh of all possible musical directions, influences and ethnic roots. They annually create new tracks and songs, which are then played live at the concert. On the Czech side, participants will be: Pavel Fajt, Miloš Vacík, Alan Vitouš and David Koller.
